Rev. Yap Kim Hao was a trailblazer in interfaith dialogue with a life mission of standing up for marginalised communities. Once the Bishop of the Methodist Church of Singapore and Malaysia, he became ostracised by the church for his pro-LGBT stance. One year on from his passing, let us commemorate his legacy.
