On the 18th of March, Malaysia announced a travel ban that would bar its citizens from travelling overseas, and shut all businesses except shops selling food and daily necessities.
After speaking to some of the people on the ground, we tried our luck, and attempted to cross into Malaysia after midnight, when the ban came into effect.
